The Haz-Ser Foundation…

…was begun by IC Galleries to promote emerging Latin American and African artists by sponsoring artist-in-residency programs.

Haz-Ser organizes a yearly competition for visual artists born and working in Latin America or Africa. They must already have a modest independent body of work and be under the age of 40 at the time of applying.

African artists have their residency program at the atélier of an established artist in Latin America; Latin American artists in Africa.
